Mid Coast Chapter Volunteer Opportunities
Disaster Action Team Members - Respond to natural or man-made disasters. No experience necessary. Free training. Must be compassionate and a good team player.
Health & Safety Instructors - Teach First Aid/CPR/AED classes or babysitter training classes to community. Night and weekend hours. Training provided. Good communication skills a must.
Blood Drive Volunteers - Assist with blood drive registration and canteen. Must have good people skills. Training provided.
Community Disaster Education Presenters - Provide education to schools, and community groups to prevent, prepare for and respond to emergencies. Good communication skills needed.
Pre-Deployment Speakers - Provide information to armed forces services members and their families regarding Red Cross emergency communications and financial assistance programs. Must be retired or active duty military or immediate family member with military ID.
Administrative Volunteers - Help our volunteers and staff provide Red Cross services by processing mailings, answering phones, and by greeting our students, clients and visitors at our Chapter Headquarters in Topsham. Good phone and people skills needed.
